KDJ HolidayScapes and Resorts, a vacation ownership and timeshare provider, said it plans to tap small towns to develop new properties and is planning to invest Rs 150 crore over 5 years on expansion.
"We started operations in 2010-11, and have 16 properties, two owned by the company at Khandala Maharashtra and Jodhpur in Rajasthan, and the rest through tie-ups. We are scouting for new exotic locations in smaller towns like Coorg, Sikkim, and in Tamil Nadu, Kerala among others," KDJ HolidayScapes and Resorts Director Madhukar Katragadda told PTI here.
The company, he said, is planning to invest Rs 150 crore for the expansion in the next five years.

Beside vacation ownership and timeshare, the hospitality firm also caters to direct booking from members.
KDJ HolidayScapes and Resorts is part of the KDJ Group comprising of three business families - the Kedias, the Deoras and the Jalans.
The company is also envisaging to have 20,000 members in about a decade's time, he said.
"We are new in the field and currently have 1,300 members. We are targeting to have 20,000 members in 10 years," he added.
The membership cost begins from Rs 1.5 lakh to Rs 8 lakh, depending on the package, he said.
The company is mainly targeting at middle to upper middle class audience, he said.
"There is a huge potential for this segment as the available offerings in this segment mainly caters to high end audience. There is a gap that provides a huge opportunity for the middle to upper middle class segment," he said.
The company also has affiliation with Resort Condominium International (RCI) that allows the 'Club Holidayscapes' members to holiday at over 5,700 resorts worldwide through exchange facility.
