Municipal Transport (KDMT) was caught while allegedly taking a bribe of Rs 7,000 from a complaint, ACB said today.
The office superintendent of KDMT had allegedly demanded Rs 7,000 from the complainant to allow him to resume his duty, Anti-Corruption Bureau's Thane unit Deputy Superintendent of Police Kanhaiya Thorat said in an official release.

The complainant worked as a conductor on contract in KDMT and certain action was initiated against him by the administration because of which he was kept off duty.
The complainant later approached the ACB which laid a trap and nabbed the official while he was allegedly taking the bribe yesterday, the release said.
The accused has been booked under sections 7, 12, 13(1),(d) and 13(2) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, it added.
