KEC International bags orders worth Rs 1,041 crore

RPG Group firm KEC International has bagged orders worth Rs 1,041 crore from both domestic and international markets.

"The company has secured new orders of Rs 1,041 crore... In transmission and distribution business, the company has secured orders in India, Africa and the America amounting to Rs 933 crore. In cable business, the company has secured orders of Rs 108 crore," KEC International Ltd said in a BSE filing.

KEC International said in the domestic market, it has received orders worth Rs 246 crore from Power Grid Corporation of India for the construction of transmission lines in various parts of India and an order worth Rs 83 crore from West Bengal State Electricity Transmission Co Ltd for construction of transmission lines.
 

In the international market, the company has received orders worth Rs 404 crore and Rs 200 crore.

Shares of KEC International Ltd were trading 2.45% up, at Rs 121.10 apiece on the BSE.
