Delhi's Keerath Bhandaal thrashed Judy Walia of Karnataka 5-1 to clinch her maiden senior title in the National 8-Ball Championship for women, here today.
Rolling out three racks in a row to take a lead of 3-0 in the race to the 5 racks final, Keerath put veteran Walia on the defensive.
Judy managed to win the fourth rack but by that time she had left herself too much to do as Keerath rolled out another two racks in a row to clinch her maiden senior national title and also her first title in pool games.

Keerath had outplayed Chitra M (Karnataka) 5-2 in the semi-finals, whereas Walia defeated Neena Praveen (TN) 5-3.
In the 9-Ball Pool (Men) event, 8-Ball champion, Sundeep Gulati and former No 2 Kamal Chawla made the knock-out draw.
