Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal today cited the findings of a survey to express confidence about coming to power in Delhi following the Assembly elections.
As many as 47 per cent of Delhiites wish to see AAP form the government as against only 33 per cent who favoured BJP, he said, adding that for Congress, it was only 27 per cent of Delhi dwellers who wanted to see it return to power.
The data for the survey was collected in August, he added.
As for the post of Chief Minister, 41 per cent said they want AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal to fill that chair while 20 per cent vouched for Sheila Dikshit.
Only 14 per cent of Delhiites were in favour of BJP state president Vijay Goel, as per the survey conducted.
The survey was conducted under the supervision of prominent psephologist and AAP member Yogendra Yadav.
The survey is also active in September and data was being collected for all 70 Assembly seats, Kejriwal said.
