Kejriwal greets Delhi girl for securing 4th position in UPSC

Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal today congratulated Delhi girl Vandana Rao for securing the fourth position in the prestigious civil services examination.

Wishing her a bright future, Kejriwal said that it is creditable that she has got success due to her hard work and dedication towards studies that too without getting any coaching.

Rao secured the all-India fourth position in the civil services examination, 2014. She belongs to Kangan Heri village in south-west Delhi. She is the first topper from the rural belt of Delhi.

Rao did her high school from Krishna Model School, Najafgarh and higher secondary from Shanti Gyan Niketan (Dwarka Sector-19). She is a graduate in Computer Science from UIET, Kurukshetra University, Haryana.
 

This was her second attempt at the exam, conducted by UPSC.
