The stunning electoral success of bureaucrat-turned politician Arvind Kejriwal and his nascent Aam Admi Party made headlines in Nepali media which described it as the rise of 'aam admi'.

Major dailies of Nepal including The Kathmandu Post, Annapurna Post, Republica and Gorkhapatra dailies gave extensive coverage to the swearing-in ceremony of Kejriwal as Delhi Chief Minister.

The Kathmandu Post, the leading English daily, carried a front page news entitled "Anti-graft champion takes charge in Delhi" along with Kejriwal's picture.

State-run Gorkhapatra, the oldest newspaper of Nepal, also carried a front page picture of Kejriwal with the headline "Kejriwal takes charge as chief minister of Delhi".

Largest circulated Kantipur daily carries the news with a headline "Rise of Aam Aadmi in Delhi" describing how Kejriwal reached Ramlila Maidan in metro without being escorted by any security personnel and without creating traffic jams to take oath.
