Under opposition fire over the rapid spread of dengue across Delhi, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal today sought help of both Congress and BJP in chalking out a strategy to tackle the outbreak rising above politics.
Kejriwal's appeal through letters to the Leader of Opposition in Delhi Assembly, Vijender Gupta of BJP, and Delhi Congress chief Ajay Maken came even as the parties have raised heat on the AAP government for its alleged "inefficient" handling of the dengue outbreak.
"Dengue has spread across Delhi. At this point, it's incumbent upon us to rise above politics and serve the people of Delhi. Through this letter I want to invite you and your party members to assist us in our anti-dengue efforts," Kejriwal said.
