Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal today congratulated the India U-19 team that lifted the World Cup trophy, and praised the performance of Manjot Kalra, the Delhi boy who was declared 'man of the match' in the final.
The young Indian cricketers beat Australia in the final match played at Mount Maunganui (New Zealand), by eight wickets to lift the U-19 Cricket World Cup for the record fourth time.
"Heartiest congratulations to India's U-19 Cricket team for winning the World Cup. Delhi boy Manjot Kalra has made all of us proud!," Kejriwal tweeted.

"My heartiest congratulations to U-19 team India and to pride of Delhi, man of the match in finals - Manjot Kalra," he tweeted.
Kalra emerged as the man for the big occasion, scoring a sublime 101 not out off 102 balls and anchoring the Indian innings after the loss of captain Prithvi Shaw and the team's leading scorer in the tournament, Shubman Gil.
