Kejriwal visits sister on Raksha Bandhan

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal today paid a visit to his sister who lives in the city on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan.

Kejriwal arrived at Haridwar railway station by Delhi-Dehradun Shatabdi Express at 11 am where he was given a guard of honour.

However, the Chief Minister returned the vehicle provided by the district administration and went to his sister's place in his brother-in-law's car.

Kejriwal's sister who is a doctor in Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), Haridwar tied a Rakhi on his wrist only after 2 pm as it was not propitious to do so in the morning hours due to Bhadrakal.
 

Talking to the media, Kejriwal described his visit to the city as purely personal and offered his greetings to the people on the occasion of Rakhi.

After spending the day with his sister, the Chief Minister returned to the capital by the Shatabdi Express.
