Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan today participated in a function to pay tributes to senior journalist and activist Gauri Lankesh, who was shot dead in Bengaluru on September five.
Vijayan lit a candle along with cultural leaders of the state to pay homage at the function organised by the Kerala state Youth welfare board and Kerala University Students Union.
People from various walks of life, including social and cultural activists participated in the function held at Martyrs column here to raise public consciousness and register the state's protest against the killing which had shocked the nation.
