Kerala Assembly today congratulated the Indian Space Research Organisation on the successful launch of GSLV-D5 and joining the elite club of countries with home grown cryogenic technology.
In a special reference to the House, Speaker G Karthikeyan said this was a milestone in the country's space programme and its quest to scale new heights in science and technology.
He congratulated all those who worked hard to make this dream a successful reality.

India thus became the sixth space agency in the world after the US, Russia, Japan, China and France to have joined the indigenous cryogenic regime.
