Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Thursday called on Governor P Sathashivam at the Raj Bhavan here.
During the 30-minute 'courtesy visit', they discussed "general matters", including law and order, of the state, a Raj Bhavan press release said later.
Vijayan also briefed the governor about his recent meeting with union ministers in New Delhi, the upcoming visit of the Netherlands king Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima to Kerala and Dutch assistance offered for rebuilding initiatives of the state which had suffered unprecedented deluge last year, the release said.
The governor had last month termed as "very disturbing" the incidents including the stabbing of a student in Kerala University's Thiruvananthapuram College and seizure of several bundles of answer sheets from the house of an SFI leader.
Taking a serious view of the seizure of answer sheets, Sathasivam had also sought a report from university Vice-Chancellor V P Mahadevan Pillai.
