K B Pawan's superb century and 96-run knock by Rohan Prem steered Kerala to an imposing 133-run triumph over Hyderabad in a South Zone leg of the Vijay Hazare Trophy here today.
Kerala's decision to bat first after winning the toss pay rich dividends as they went on to post a massive 321 for nine in their allotted 50 overs, riding on Pawan's run-a-ball 106 and Rohan's 97-ball 96.
On the other hand, despite an all-round performance by Ashish Reddy, Hyderabad folded for a mere 188 in 43.5 overs.

Only two other Hyderabad batsmen -- Ravi Kiran (27) and Ibrahim Khaleel (11) -- could reach the double-digit mark.
For Kerala, Basil Thampi (2/29), Vinod Kumar C V (2/34) and Fabid Ahmed (2/41) chipped in with two wickets each.
Kerala opener Pawan's brilliant knock was studded with nine four and three sixes, while Rohan knock included six boundaries and four sixes.
The two also shared a crucial 185-run partnership for the second wicket and laid a solid platform for Kerala to register a total of 300 plus score, even as Reddy came up with a superb spell of five for 30 from his nine overs.
Hyderabad struggled miserably when it came to replying.
They kept on losing wickets at regular intervals to be struggling at 60 for nine in 23.2 overs and it seemed as if they would not even cross 100 runs, but Ashish and Ravi Kiran put on a 128-run stand for the last wicket to delay the inevitable.
