Prince Rama Varma, a vocalist and Saraswathy Veena exponent, will be hosting an evening of Carnatic music here.
Varma from Kerala and descendant of legendary Indian painter Raja Ravi Varma will also give a talk tomorrow on how to appreciate Carnatic music at the Southbank Centre by the Thames river.
"Some of the most beautiful memories in my life are set in London. The way London has enriched my life is immeasurable and multidimensional," said the artist in reference to his return to the city after a gap of many years.

"These days my teaching work keeps me mostly in India and I don't get to travel abroad much. So it is with a great feeling of joy and nostalgia that I look forward to performing at the Purcell Room, after a gap of more than 15 years," he added.
The show is organised by Dhruv Arts and supported by Arts Council England.
"We started Dhruv Arts to showcase the very best of South Indian Carnatic music and we have now expanded our vision to cover a far richer tapestry of music and arts," said Jyotsna Srikanth, artistic director of Dhruv Arts.
"Our annual London International Arts Festival is full of fantastic award-winning artists, musical legends and emerging talent from both the Carnatic music and World music sectors," she said.
