Kerala to formulate new project to prmote science talent

Kerala Government planned to launch a project named 'Srishti' to encourage science talent and inventions among school students, Chief Minister Oommen Chandy said here today.

In the first phase of the project, fourteen schools will be selected from all districts, he said distributing science literature awards here.

Financial and scientific support for good projects would be extended, he said.

The Chief Minister presented the award to Dr C V Aravindakshan, K V Mathew, A Achuthan, Dr C P V Namboothiri, Sashidharan Mangathil, each consisting of a citaton, a certificate and a sum of Rs.50,000 in various categories for their science related works in Malayalam published in 2013.
