Having managed two draws (one against Himachal Pradesh and one against Assam) from as many matches, Kerala have earned two points, while Goa have collected four points (three points against Jammu & Kashmir and one against Jharkhand).

With a strong batting line-up, the hosts would bank on openers Abhishek Hegde and V A Jagadeesh, Rohan Prem and in-form Sanju Viswanath Samson, all of whom have scored centuries in this season, for a sizeable first innings total.

The bowling would be spearheaded by captain and medium pacer Sony Cheruvathoor, medium pacer Anthaf and spinner K R Sreejith.

Goa, meanwhile, would rely on diminutive opener Swapnil Asnodkar, who had scored 103 in their second innings against J&K, and in form batsman Manvinder Bisla who had chipped in with good scores in their two previous matches.

Besides Asnodkar and Bisla, Goa would depend on Amogh Desai, Ravikant Shukla and Reagan Pinto for as solid total.

The bowling department will rely on left-arm spinner Shadab Jakati, off-spinner Amogh Desai and medium pacers S Bandekar and Robin D'Souza.
