Kerala Women's Commission Chairperson M C Josephine today came under attack on social media reportedly for some comments made by her on entry of women in the banned 10-50 age group in the Sabarimala shrine and 'confession' row.
The National Commission for Women has recently recommended banning confessions in churches over fears they could lead to blackmailing of women.
"Abusive and filthy language was used against Josephine in the social media," commission sources said.
A complaint will be forwarded to the DGP today, commission sources said.
The women's commission chairperson had after a mega adalat at Kozhikode yesterday made some comments on the two issues following which she and members of her family came under attack.
