Supermodel Miranda Kerr's raunchy cover for Harper Bazaar Australia was removed from hundreds of grocery store shelves after customers complained about her birthday suit.

According to Women's Wear Daily, Coles, one of Australia's two largest supermarket chains, chose to remove the offending cover from their shelves - a total of 776 stores nationwide - after unhappy shoppers voiced their disapproval of the nearly nude cover photo, reported Us magazine.

"In response to feedback from our customers, many of whom shop with their children, we removed the magazine from sale earlier this week," a spokesman for the retailer said in a statement.

On the cover, Kerr, 32, flaunts her enviable figure in nothing but a pair of Christian Louboutin pumps and a Swarovski necklace and earrings.
