"The 'Parivartan Sammelan' is to highlight Modi government's corruption and to create awareness among people. A bike and car rally would be taken out tomorrow," MahaGujarat Janta Party (MJP) city unit president Rajesh Vekariya said.
Other dissident leaders like Kashiram Rana, Suresh Mehta and MJP president Gordhan Zadaphia will attend the convention to be held at Ring Road here tomorrow.
Accusing Modi government of being involved in corruption and keeping not only government officials but people of the state also in fear, Zadaphia said, "Our target is coming Assembly polls and to remove the Modi government and bring a 'fear free' governance."
"We have a strong leader like Keshubhai and we are hoping to bring a change in the coming Assembly elections," he said.
Keshubhai has already indicated his willingness to contest Assembly elections at the convention held in Junagadh couple of days back.
"If required, I will contest the Assembly election to remove the present government," Patel had said in Junagadh.
The veteran leader, who is popular in Patel community, particularly in Saurashtra region, has been campaigning openly against the Modi government after failing to get favourable response from the BJP's national leaders.
