Filmmaker-actor Kevin Spacey will host the 71 Annual Tony Awards.
"I was their second choice for Usual Suspects, fourth choice for American Beauty and 15th choice to host this year's Tony Awards. I think my career is definitely going in the right direction," Spacey said in a press release.
The 57-year-old actor won his Tony in 1991, as a featured actor in "Lost in Yonkers." He has appeared in six Broadway productions, including the 2007 revival of "A Moon for the Misbegotten," reported E! online.
