A khadi training centre was inaugurated at an observation home here at an event organised by National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR).
Supreme Court Judge Justice Madan B Lokur was the Chief Guest at the ceremony.
The centre at Aadharshila Observation Home, Kingsway Camp, has been established by NCPCR in collaboration with Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC)and Delhi Government.
Justice Lokur urged the inmates to take full advantage of the facilities, according to a press statement released by NCPCR.
Chairperson NCPCR Stuti Kacker said the Commission will set up similar training centres across 300 Observation Homes in the country.
