A suspension of work notice was served by Khaitan Electrical at its fan unit at Taratala in city.
A senior company official today confirmed that a suspension of work notice till further notice had been served on November 1 after company do not have enough manpower to run the unit after a VRS scheme.
The official said the plant is left with 30 employees without sufficient technical strength to run the plant.
The official said the company was running at loss for a few years and the production had been negligible since last one year due to several reasons.
According to the official sources, the company management will take call shortly for its next course of action to revive the facility.
