Fans of professional wrestler 'Great Khali' were left disappointed after his show scheduled here for tomorrow was cancelled due to a dispute between the organiser and the ticket distributor company.

The organisers said that they have now terminated the contract with this company for the next event to be held at Panipat on October 12 and are going to file a legal case against it.

Also visa problems of two main wrestlers led to postponing the event, Khali's manager Balwan Singh said.

On the dispute with the ticket distributor, he said, "We hired the company to sell tickets but it has not performed as per our expectations and just a day is left for the event.

"We have already paid Rs 6 lakh in advance to the company and it was a joint contract for sharing the profit of event but the officials of company were making several excuses.

"They asked us to submit various 'No Objection certificates' to different agencies though the event was backed by Haryana government with all logistics and promoted as a wrestling event," he claimed.

Singh said they are going to file a legal case against it as it has "duped" them at the last stage.

"We will soon update for rescheduling the event in Gurgaon after Panipat," he said.

Khali's real name is Dalip Singh Rana. He became popular after his stint with the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). WWE.
