Khalistani ideologue dies

Singh (98) passed away yesterday, they said, adding that he is survived by four sons.

Singh, who retired from the Punjab government in the early eighties from the post of the Director (Health), gradually moved towards the radical ideology.

He was arrested from Nepal in 1993 and jailed for two years under the National Security Act. He had been living in Mohali ever since his release from the jail.
