Three persons, including a district collector, were today injured when their car dashed against a truck near here, police said.
Khandwa Collector Neeraj Dubey, his gunman and driver were injured when their car collided with a vegetable truck at a tri-section between Bairagargh and Kajoori, about 11 kms from here, they said.
Dubey was coming to Bhopal to attend a meeting when the mishap took place.
The collector escaped with minor injuries, while his gunman and driver sustained serious injuries and were admitted to a private hospital where their condition was said to be stable, police said.
A case has been registered in this connection.
The truck has been seized though its driver fled, police said, adding that efforts were on to trace him.
