Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar administered the oath of office and secrecy to newly appointed Member of Haryana Electricity Regulatory Commission (HERC) Debashish Majumdar here today.
Prior to his appointment as Member HERC, Majumdar served as Chairman and Managing Director, Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Limited (IREDA).
He relinquished this charge on February 28, 2014 after attaining the age of superannuation, a government release said.
