Khattar hands over certificates for setting up 4 ind units

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar today handed over clearance certificates for setting up of four industrial units in the state entailing investments of about Rs 972 crore which will generate jobs for 3,645 people.

The Chief Minister gave away these certificates after inaugurating the Haryana Enterprises Promotion Centre (HEPC) in Panchkula, near here today.

The four companies are Canpack India Pvt Ltd, Starwire (India) Ltd, Eglo India Production Ltd and Enrich Agro Food Products Pvt Ltd, an official release said here.

Speaking on the occasion, Khattar said that HEPC -- a unique single roof clearance system for new units or units under expansion -- is part of Haryana's ongoing efforts to adopt a revolutionary mechanism to help simplify procedures and facilitate ease of doing business, supported by a state-of-the-art technology platform.
 

He also interacted with industry representatives to get their views on how Haryana can further improve its business policies.

Khattar said that Haryana has been able to achieve a phenomenal MoU conversion rate of 41 per cent, wherein 148 out of 359 MoUs are under various stages of implementation.

He also held a video conference with all the Deputy Commissioners and reviewed cases or applications lying with them.

He said that Haryana would be one of the first states in the country to launch a service that permits online submission and approval system through a dynamic interactive portal under a single roof, backed by a statute.
