Khattar interacts with 20 young IAS officers

Exhorting them to observe his government's policy of zero tolerance towards corruption, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar today met 20 young IAS officers.

Interacting with all the Haryana cadre IAS officers of the 2011-2015 batches here today at his residence, the Chief Minister suggested that each one of them should choose one national or state programme of socio-economic development for career long commitment whatever be their future postings.

He said that they should never feel resource constrained as any number of citizens, civil society organizations and corporates were ready to support honest and passionate efforts for nation building and betterment of society.
 

Earlier the Chief Minister listened for nearly three hours the experiences and innovative ideas shared by the young officers, an official release said here.

The young officers were appreciative of 'CM Window' and 'All women police stations' - the two flagship programs of the BJP government in Haryana.

Praising the role of senior bureaucracy, Khattar said that it was the new generation of officers who could help the government keep pace with people's expectations and changing needs of the society.

Noting that life always brings up challenges, he said that they should always have the courage to do the right thing.
