Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar today made surprise visit to a 'gaushala' near Jhajjar while on way to Karnal from Gurgaon.
He stopped his convoy to visit a 'gaushala' and inspect its working and conditions, an official release here stated.
The release further said that the Haryana government has been taking strict steps for protection and upkeep of cows and for this purpose had passed Haryana Gauvansh Sanrakshan and Gausamvardhan Bill, earlier this year.
