Khattar readies officials for Hry teachers eligibility test

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal has directed all the Deputy Commissioners in the state to make adequate arrangements to ensure free, fair and peaceful conduct of Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET)-2015, scheduled to be held on November 14 and 15.

These directions were given during a video conferencing here today regarding the preparedness for the successful conduct of HTET-2015.

As many as 625 centres have been set up in the state for conducting the examination, an official release said here.

Directing the DCs to take HTET as a challenge, the Chief Minister said that total 4.61 lakh students in the state are appearing in this examination including 1.44 lakh for JBT, 1.81 lakh for TGT and 1.37 lakh for PGT.
 

He said that this year, the state government has also decided to hold this examination in those eight districts - Bhiwani, Jhajjar, Rohtak, Jind, Mewat, Palwal, Sirsa and Mahindergarh - where the examination was not being held during the previous government.

This decision would facilitate the candidate, especially women candidates, who have all been allotted centres in their home districts, he said.

He directed the Deputy Commissioners and Superintendents of Police to make foolproof system in their respective districts for the free and fair conduct of examinations and complete all arrangements by November 12 and also remove shortcomings, if any, the release said.

Special precautions should be taken near the strong room where the examination papers would be kept and adequate arrangements should be made to avert any possibility of its leakage, he said.

The Chief Minister said that Section 144 of Indian Penal Code be imposed around all the examination centres in all the districts as preventive measure till the completion of examination.

In the meeting, the Chief Minister also directed DCs to ensure maximum Aadhaar enrollment in their respective districts and complete the target of setting up 2500 Common Service Centres by December 25, 2015.

He said that besides setting up CSCs, it should also be ensured that the people get the delivery of services.

Khattar said that target of uploading accounts of beneficiaries of various social security pensions should be completed in a mission mode and also ensure their Aadhaar seeding later on.
