Khurshid makes light of Yeddyurappa's praise of Congress

"He may have said something but it seems he is parting away from the BJP. If anybody praises us, it feels good but the cause for praising should also be good," Khurshid told reporters here.

He was reacting to questions on Yeddyurppa's remarks in Bangalore that "from Jawaharlal Nehru to Sonia Gandhi, the Congress has never let down its leaders."

The sulking former Karnataka Chief Minister, who skipped attending the BJP's national executive in Surajkund also took pot shot at Gadkari, saying that he hadn't kept his promise of making him the Karnataka BJP chief.
