Kidnapped boy found

A 4-year-old boy was rescued and his

abductor arrested from Old Delhi station, police said today.

Pawan (4), son of Keshav Das, a resident of Tatarpur Istemurar village, near Dharuhera, was rescued and his abductor Shyam Paswan arrested by the police from Old Delhi station yesterday.

According to police, Paswan had allegedly kidnapped Pawan on January 30 and taken him to Old Delhi railway station, from where he planned to take the boy to his village in Bihar with the intention to seek ransom from Pawan's father.

Based on a complaint by Das, police registered a case and arrested Paswan.
 

While Pawan was restored to her parents, the Paswan was today produced before the Duty Magistrate here who remanded him in police custody for two days.

Police said Das and Paswan had been living at Tatarpur Istemurar village where they both worked as masons.
