A 16-year-old girl, who had eloped with a man from Adilabad district, was today found at Secunderabad railway station by RPF personnel.

The minor girl along with the man, who faces kidnapping charge, was spotted by RPF personnel, who were combing the platforms to clear unauthorised persons after midnight last night, South Central Railway (SCR) said in a release.

The man was identified as one Satish, a resident of Adilabad district in Telangana.

An inquiry revealed that both had eloped from their homes around two days back and tried to take shelter in their friend's house here but in vain. They then came to Secunderabad station to spend the night, it said.

The RPF personnel immediately passed the message to the girl's relatives who in turn contacted Bellampally Police Station in Adilabad, where a case of kidnapping was filed against Satish (as the teenager was a minor).

Both were handed over to Bellampally Police Station," the release added.
