A woman and a 15-year-old girl, who were allegedly abducted from different places in Jammu district, have been rescued.
On the basis of a missing report lodged by the woman's husband on June 22 and another complaint five days later that she had been abducted, the police launched a search operation.
The woman and the accused were found in Himachal Pradesh today, police said, adding, the accused has been arrested and both of them are being brought back to the state.
In another incident, a minor girl, who was allegedly kidnapped from Bishnah, was rescued from Karial-Brahmana and efforts are on to nab the accused, they said.
