"24" star Kiefer Sutherland is all set to make a comeback to TV with a new ABC series "Designated Survivors".
A conspiracy thriller, the drama revolves around Sutherland's Tom Kirkman, a lower-level cabinet member who finds himself unexpectedly thrust into the role of president of the United States following a devastating attack on Washington, reported E! News.
Sutherland, 49, played Jack Bauer on long-running TV show "24" for nine seasons. His another show "Touch" just survived two seasons.
