Michael and his accomplices were involved in several cases of theft of laptops, bags and other valuables from parked vehicles in Karnal and on nearby highways, police said.
Michael also confessed that his gang has stolen laptop and valuables from white SUV car of Harbhajan Singh, parked in front of a restaurant on highway on December 22 last year, a police spokesman said.
All five members of the gang are residents of Delhi, and with today's arrest three of them have been placed behind the bars, he said.
Haryana Police had constituted a special team to prevent such thefts, he said.
