"The bank accounts (of media firms owned by Jagan) were frozen as a part of the CBI probe. Congress party has nothing to do with it," the Chief Minister said, addressing a party workers' meeting at Tirupati, where Assembly bypoll will be held, along with bypolls at 17 other places.
The YSR Congress of Jagan has alleged that the action was a part of a conspiracy against the Kadapa MP.
"If a big house is to be built, it can be built on 6,000 sq feet. We have to think whether a person who has built a house on 90,000 sq feet or one lakh sq feet is fit for public life. It is not a hotel, mind you. If there are 70 bedrooms in that house, we have to ask whether such a person would actually do public service. If it is only built in one city, it may be understandable. But such house is built not only in Hyderabad, but also in Bangalore," Reddy said.
He said allegations of links with criminals were also surfacing against Jagan.
