American whitegoods major Whirlpool's premium kitchen appliances brand KitchenAid today launched half-a-dozen products and announced plans for pan-India presence with over 100 outlets by the end of 2014.

The company's products are already available in 30 outlets as of now. Whirlpool acquired the US-based KitchenAid in 1986 and entered the Indian market last October.

"We are set to launch new products like food processors, mixer-grinders, coffee makers and other tools and gadgets," said KitchenAid Asia-Pacific Regional Director Mohit Jain while launching proline cordless hand blenders among other kitchen wares here.

"Currently, our products are being sold through 30 outlets located in the metros and other large cities. We are looking at making our products available in more than 100 stores by the end of the year as we are adding five-six stores every month," said Jain.

The firm is banking on online sale channels. Online sale of our products comprise 20 per cent of the entire sales and hence we have tied up with global e-commerce giant Amazon for the same, he said.

The around Rs 20,000-crore kitchen appliance industry in the country is growing at 20 per cent annually.
