: City based KKV Agro Powers, a renewable energy generation and trading company, has posted a Rs 78.85 lakh Profit After Tax in the first half of this fiscal.
Listed in NSE-Emerge platform, the company recorded a turnover of Rs 3.31 crore during the period, a company release said here today.
With the generation units higher than the earlier year, the company expected to register additional revenue in the current year, its Managing Director, T K Chandiran said.

The company proposed to foray into agri business and exploring better business opportunities in Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh, he said.
He expressed hope that better governance, demonetisation and Governments renewable energy policy would improve overall growth of the economy.
Renewable Energy Certificate (REC) trade, usually feeble in the first half of the year, is expected to trade more from February, as the year end obligation to comply by HT users would add strength to the company's performance, Chandiran said.
REC income for this half stood at Rs 12.19 lakh, he said.
