A knife-wielding assailant today injured several children in China's northwest Shaanxi province.
The attack took place near Sanlicun primary school in the city of Hanzhong, according to witnesses.
Exact number of the injured and details about the assailant were not immediately known, state-run Xinhua news agency reported.
Attacks by disgruntled people in China periodically takes place. Many attack children as soft targets.
