Knowledge hub to come up in Sarguja district of C'garh

A 'knowledge hub' will be set up in the Sarguja district at the cost of Rs 25 crore with the aim to boost higher education, vocational education, and schooling in the northern region of Chhattisgarh.

Chief Minister Raman Singh today attended the ceremony to mark the official start of work for the Sarguja Knowledge Hub at Ambikapur (district headquarters), an official said here.

The Hub will house a science college, Auxiliary Nurse Midwife training centre, nursing college, Prayas Boarding School for boys and girls, Adarsh Hostel for boys and girls, school and hostel for street children, Saksharta Bhavan and Science Centre.
 

There will also be a science park, skill development and training centre and an indoor stadium in the hub.
