Freight rates for nine-tonne pay load section to Baroda and Kochi declined by Rs 1,000 in the local truck transport market today following large position of trucks in the markets against limited cargo movements.
Elsewhere, other freight rates for other destinations continued to remain at previous levels on some support.
Transporters said ample position of trucks amid less cargo movements mainly pulled down Baroda and Kochi freight rates.
Capital to Baroda and Kochi freight ates moved down by Rs 1000 each to Rs 24,000 and Rs 70,000.
