Dublin-based Irish rock band Kodaline have announced their second album Coming Up For Air, as well as a nine-date UK tour.

The band will release the record through RCA Victor on February 9, having worked with the producers Jacknife Lee (Snow Patrol, R.E.M), Jim Eliot (Ellie Goulding) and Steve Harris - who produced Kodaline's first album In A Perfect World, reported Digital Spy.

"If you'd told us at the start of the summer that we'd be finished with our album by autumn we wouldn't have believed you," said singer Steve Garrigan.

"It happened so quickly. A lot of the songs were done live in the studio, on the spot."

Kodaline recently premiered their brand new single 'Honest', to be released on February 1 as the first cut lifted from Coming Up For Air.
