Rich tributes were today paid to legendary Bengali film actress Suchitra Sen on the occasion of her first death anniversary.
At the state-run Nandan theatre, a special retrospective of her films is being screened till Wednesday.
Actress-turned-Trinamool MP and Suchitra's daughter Moon Moon Sen along with granddaughters Riya and Raima recalled her memories at the function in Nandan.

Titled 'Phirey Dekha Suchitra Sen', the retrospective will showcase select Bengali films of her like 'Deep Jele Jai', 'Ekti Raat', 'Indrani' and 'Sagarika'.
West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said she had met Sen the day before she passed away and couldn't imagine that she would leave us forever.
"Though she left us a year ago, she will always remain in our hearts. She is immortal, her memory is immortal," Banerjee said on Facebook.
A year ago on this day, 'The Queen of Hearts' had passed away following heart attack at the age of 82.
She was best known for performance in numerous Hindi and Bengali films like 'Devdas', 'Aandhi', 'Saat Paake Bandha'.
An enigma throughout her life, the screen idol is often compared to Hollywood's Greta Garbo for being a recluse for a major part of her life after exiting the film industry.
