Kolte Patil Developers settles 7% up on strong Q2 numbers

Shares of Kolte Patil Developers today settled with gains of over 7 per cent after the realty firm reported 54 per cent jump in September quarter net profit.

The stock ended the day at Rs 102.15, up 7.47 per cent over its previous closing price. During the day it had jumped 17.72 per cent to hit an intra-high of Rs 111.90 on the BSE.

On the NSE, the stock closed at Rs 101.35, up 6.80 per cent. During the day it had jumped jumped 17.59 per cent to an intra-day high of Rs 111.60.

On Saturday, the company reported 54 per cent increase in consolidated net profit at Rs 19.32 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2016-17, from Rs 12.53 crore in the year-ago period.
 

The company's total income from operations had risen to Rs 225.98 from Rs 181.02 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year.
