Konkan Railway Corporation Limited (KRCL) will bring into effect its monsoon time table from June 10 which would be in force till October 31.
The time table, details of which would be issued later, would ensure smooth and punctual running and control of trains and avoid inconvenience to passengers, the Corporation said in a release.
The trains will run slow on the Konkan network during the monsoon to avoid accidents due to landslides and other problems, the release said.
The KRCL urged passengers who have booked tickets prior to the announcement of the monsoon timetable to check the timings of their train well in advance as the departure timings of trains would either get postponed or advanced.
