A team of three Korean coaches held an advanced clinic for players and coaches ahead of the Mumbai Super League (MSL) Table Tennis to be held at the Khar Gymkhana here on June 20 and 21.

The Koreans, who held the clinic organised jointly by the Mumbai City and Mumbai Suburban table tennis associations, were Lee Seung-Hun, Gang Jong-gu and Kim Jung-Min, a media release said today.

Apart from the city's top paddlers, India's junior national coach Sachin Shetty, Mahendra Chiplunkar and Kalpesh Loke were among the coaches who attended the clinic.

"This clinic was meant to give the players and coaches from Mumbai district the maximum possible inputs and exposure to specialised training," explained MSL Chairman Kamlesh Mehta.

"We could manage to get them here through the efforts of table tennis enthusiast Hiren Upadhyay, who is the CEO of In Rhythm, who are the Indian distributors of GEWO and Zusafao balls," added the former national champion.
