Kota was the hottest place in
Rajasthan today with a maximum temperature of 45.4 degree Celsius as light to moderate rainfall occurred at isolated places in the state.
State capital Jaipur recorded the day temperature at 44.7 degree Celsius. Barmer, Jaisalmer, Ajmer and Churu recorded maximum of 43.4, 43, 42.9 and 41.8 degree Celsius respectively, according to a Met report here.
