In order to provide first aid cover for spectators watching the fourth Test between India and Australia, Urgent Care Centre, a pre-hospital care medical centre, has become the official healthcare partner for the match at the Feroz Shah Kotla here.

The major objective of this partnership is to provide a time sensitive, safe, secure, orderly and efficient medical coverage for spectators throughout the match.

Pervez Ahmed, chairman & managing director, Urgent Care, said, "Urgent Care Centres provides bridging the gap by providing walk in on the spot emergency care at a very reasonable cost. Our endeavour is to provide world class healthcare services to our patients.

"We feel proud to be associated with this test match series as their on-ground Healthcare Partner. We look forward to assist all medical facilities to the spectators."

In order to help spectators and volunteers who suffer from injuries and other medical problems during a match, Urgent Care is offering round the clock first aid counters at all the stands, ACLS ambulances and healthcare support. The first aid counters are manned by medical staff specially trained in pre hospital care.

Urgent Care Centers help the kind of patients who have an injury or illness that requires immediate care.

The Urgent Care centres are well-equipped to cater to the primary healthcare needs of the local communities (treatment for common injuries and conditions like cuts, burns, flu and outpatient department clinical services including preventative screening, basic diagnostics and vaccinations) as well as capabilities and experience to treat most episodic healthcare needs, including cardiac arrest, stroke symptoms, breathing problems and most trauma incidents.
